Hello supportive user2user community and I must thank the helpful Michael Daniels for his fantastic tutorial - I still have to watch part 2 and am open to being a guinea pig anytime:) and Andrew Hatchett for always being available to answer questions. Here is mine for today - I had set up an interview on google plus hangouts yesterday and I pressed start and then called my contact but she could not pick up on her end. I went to call again and could not call her without deleting my google plus event and starting again so I must be doing something wrong - I had even sent her link on top of the page as Michael Daniels had shared in his tutorial so my question is: Once you create an event and press start button to call someone - and they can't answer - how do I do it again without having to delete my event and then  having to create it again and send out again. I am missing some step.

I set my Gaming YouTube Playlist on "Play all" and set it to repeat.  Using Wirecast I set up two "Local Desktop Presenter" shots, one to capture the YouTube video and one to capture the title of the video "now playing".   Notice how the title changes automatically.  Go later in the video and see where I added a channel logo.
I kept opening windows on my computer with only one monitor so that messed up the video somewhat.  I could have possibly just left my computer unattended all night long.   Of course leaving it unattended might result in someone else's video getting played and a copyright violation.

Finished our first scheduled HOA event last night. Went well but we were told to expect about a 7 second delay from hitting the broadcast button to the show actually starting. On the replay of the Google Hangout I noticed that there is now an "uncomfortable" time with us doing nothing but whispering back and forth to each other until we thought we were live. 

Since YouTube won't let me edit an HOA on YouTube, I downloaded the video and trimmed the first few seconds and the replay looks good now.

QUESTIONS: Will the edited version be assigned a new URL and will that new URL be just as valid once we swap out the videos? And, do we just delete the original video?
P.S. Rayne Dowell gave us excellent advice today on this but Leila is scared to death to change anything for fear of screwing up our first HOA. I've done everything Rayne said and am ready to upload the edited version, finish this and get it off my plate! :-)

Being a part of U2U is like living in a small town (community) in that when there's an emergency (my HOA issue) it's like ringing the church bell -- everyone comes running to help in any way they can!

Hats off to Bill Graham too as a first responder! And Rayne Dowell and John Jurkiewicz  --- there's a ton of experience here and I'm proud to be a part of this great community. I will no doubt have more questions as I try and perfect my process. I always know where to go for what I need!

I wanted to give a shout out to Bill Graham for the late Sunday assist on screen sharing. He was able to clear things up to a point and for that I am truly appreciative; however, we both are stumped on screen sharing a google drive presentation (like powerpoint). I can bring it into screen share but can't move from slide to slide. 

I think it has something to do with settings before I bring it into screen share that makes it functional.

I am delighted to be a new member of this group and I have my first question.

I am delighted to be a new member of this group and I have my first question. Before I set up an interview for my life/career corner, I used to post the event and then post the interview I was about to do the day of the interview, so that meant two notices,  but I worried I was bombarding people with posts about my interviews instead of just providing useful information. What is this group's professional opinion? I went to do a hangouts on air last week and one person wrote that they wanted more advance notice than 10 minutes before an event so not sure what is best policy.

It has been a while since we posted here. Unfortunately there are some time constraints that holds us back to develop the app update faster. Nevertheless we made some good progress over the last view days and a major update should be ready in a few weeks.

We also updated our logo (Yay for Material Design!)

There is currently still a major bug with the volume control due to an issue in the API itself. Once this issue is resolved by Google we are back in full action.

We hope that the new app will be more reliable. We may still encounter issues with lower thirds not loading due to the way canvas are handled. There is not much we can do for now, but we keep looking for alternatives.

Ok, so I can't claim newbie status on this since I have been around for nearly 2 years or so but I still do things...

Ok, so I can't claim newbie status on this since I have been around for nearly 2 years or so but I still do things that I have no clue what I did to screw it up.    Here's what is going on and I am asking for help from you fine folks.

I have several G+ pages for businesses that I operate.  Some time ago, I asked Google to manually connect one of my pages to the correct channel on YouTube so that this page was accurately connected to the correct channel.  Google responded that they couldn't help but nonetheless somehow it happened anyhow so I was pleased.

Here's the problem and I didn't notice it until months later because I wasn't actively visiting my other G+ pages.  Somehow, ALL of my G+ pages show the exact same content and when I post to my primary one, the same post gets posted on everyone of my G+ pages.  In fact the artwork is the same on each page as well.  

At one time, these pages all had separate content pertinent to the subjects they covered.  However, now all pages are exactly the same.

When I share the link to a BHOA I've created the event picture shows up very small and you cant really read what they event is. Am I doing something incorrectly when I set it up.?
