How to Create a Hangout on Air with a Traditional Google+ Event
This free video guide on using the Google+ Traditional Event method of running a Hangout on Air broadcast has some extra features that the other 2 methods do not.
This is video 3 of 3 in the AllAboutHangouts.com Free Quickstart series. This set of 3 free videos is designed to walk you through the most common ways to start up a HOA (Hangout on Air) broadcast. The AllAboutHangouts website offers Free & Paid video training and more, taking you from Hangout Basics to Total Hangout Confidence!
In this 3-part quickstart series, the first one shows how to use Scheduled HOA Events, the next one demonstrates starting a HOA via YouTube. This 3rd method of using YouTube & Google+ Events has the most moving parts and requires more manual connections but also offers the most flexibility.

Oddly enough, though all 3 methods create an "Event" of some kind, this is the only method that starts out on the Google+ Event Page. This method was the original way to create an event that involved an HOA broadcast video connected to that event. It still has the most practical options of the 3... but it is less automated.
Please share this quickstart HOA video tutorial with those you know are interested in all aspects of HOA Broadcasting options.

Andrew Hatchett thanks again for sharing. This Traditional method is a bit tricky and can cause some issues if not done correctly (remember the olde days!?), but it still has some valuable uses IMO.
