I have yet another question.

I have yet another question. With Googles reorganization plans looming in the near future does that mean that the profile pages will become a thing of the past and if so what will take their place or is it all still a mystery. I'm talking about the split into photo's, streams, and hangouts

    I haven't heard that they will affect profiles at all.

    Photos, streams, and Hangouts sounds like what we have now.

    My understanding is that Google plus will be unchanged.  It is just that Hangouts and photos will be there own entity.
    Sort of like Google Docs are part of Google Drive but each is accessed separately.

    Mainly to give folks that DO NOT want Google Plus but want to use hangouts or they have photos they want to share.
