I have a question on screen sharing.

I have a question on screen sharing. I used the tool in an HOA I did yesterday and on my screen the slides I used progressed along with the narrative. Everything appeared to be fine. Participants commented that while the audio portion was great the slide share stayed on the initial slide and never moved. I watched the YouTube replay and it only showed the initial screen. What did I do wrong? I've never had this problem in the past.

    You mention screen share and slides?
    The screen share I assume you are talking about the Hangout screen share (green button 2nd from the top).
    Slides???  What slide program are you using Powerpoint? Google Slides?

    on my screen everything was fine
    on youtube it never went past the first slide

    you remember to open the powerppint in its own window and share that as your screenshare?  The most common issue is when someone opens the powerpoint slide show after selecting powerpoint as the screenshare and that means you are not actually sharing the live slide show properly?
