Firefox Hello is here
(or how to establish a video link to even your doctor in less than a minute)

Firefox Hello works on Google Chrome, Firefox, and Opera so you don't have to use Firefox to answer a call.
In Firefox when I clicked the "Email Link" option in Hello a mail window on my default browser (Chrome) opened with this prepared message:

Hello!
Join me for a video conversation using Firefox Hello:
You don't have to download or install anything. Just copy and paste this URL
into your browser:  https://xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
If you want, you can also learn more about Firefox Hello at https://www.firefox.com/hello/
Talk to you soon!

When I clicked the "Link" option I could copy the link address.
Now I can connect to anyone if they have a computer in front of them.
I can even give out the link verbally over the telephone.

  1. Andrew Hatchett Thanks for sharing.  It would be great if Hangouts would allow this somehow.  I think they are permanent links.
